My husband Medhat Elmasry and I used Tom Thiessen's services, from Remax, in selling and buying our new house. We were very pleased with his services for these reasons:
    • Tom was very helpful to us in letting us know about suitable homes and showing them to us. 
    • He came in person to our home to help us fill forms and walk us through any offer we got.

Tom did a wonderful job selling our house! He kept us in the loop every time there was a development of some kind and always explained what each document was saying and what it was for. He was very helpful in explaining each step of the process to both of us so that we truly understood it. In both sales we appreciated that Tom did not rush us through the process. When we expressed our plan to list a property he promptly provided us with a very thorough market analysis and kept us updated until we made a decision to list.  We were impressed with his marketing strategies, impressed to see how he prepared our properties for listing on MLS by hiring professionals to take pictures and double-check the measurements (in both properties they turned to be wrong), creating and ordering nice brochure and using social media to advertise the listing. 
 It is with a good sense of urgency, Tom always made his time flexible to meet our needs and wants. Every time we needed to sign a document he would take the time to explain us paper work and to remind the procedures even when we were rushing him through the signing process. 
Working with an agent, we always expect to be able to get in touch with one quickly and communicating with Tom was exactly that: emails, texts, calls -  we were getting immediate response. He was keeping us in the loop with constant updates on showings. When time came to negotiate Tom demonstrated great skills. His experience working with other agents helped a lot in the negotiations too. With our second property, when the offer was on the table and we happened to be on a cruise, he organised negotiation and signing via internet, managed to keep us and buyers satisfied in the process until the deal was closed. Thank you, Tom! 
When the time comes and another change is needed, it’s Tom Thiessen we will choose to call on to guide us through the real estate process once more!
